Director Roberta Findlay, John Holmes, and 20 cast and crew were arrested and taken to jail during production. According to Findlay, they were shooting in a shopping mall that was closed one Sunday night when two security guards peeked in and saw them filming sex scenes. Eventually the charges were dropped after two nights in jail. While they were waiting, police officers kept coming around John Holmes' cell to get his autograph.
